Jacob Zang is a versatile guitarist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Over the last 10 years, he has been involved with almost all environments that a guitarist can be involved with.  He can be seen on the stage and in the studio, playing in the genres of rock, funk, country, blues, acoustic, worship, jazz, RnB, gospel, and more.

As a sideman, he has backed up artists such as Lou Christie, The Drifters, The Vogues, Terry Sylvester, The Hobbs Sisters, Frank Vieira, Ashley Marina, and countless other musical acts.  Also, he is currently touring with singer, Chris Ruggiero.  As an artist, he regularly plays public-facing shows with his band Fusion Illusion.  On Sunday mornings, he leads the Worship Band at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.  Jacob endorses Wampler Pedals.

Jacob graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in Music Technology and a focus in Jazz Guitar.  He has studied with Mark Koch, Eric Susoeff, Thomas Kikta, Jay Weaver, Scott Elliot, and Alex Price.
